Tasmin Little 15 Mar 2007
Tasmin Little
Tasmin Little is one of the world’s top violinists. With a repertoire of over 50 concertos she began playing at the age of seven, winning a place at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School. She likes to chat to her audience and has gained fame for performing lesser known works for the violin. She teamed up with Sir Simon Rattle and the Berlin Philharmonic to play the Ligeti concerto – one of the most difficult pieces ever written for the violin. Sir Simon is reported to have said she was the only musician up for the job. She joins Jenni in the studio.
