Child witnesses – do they get enough support? 15 Feb 2007
Child witnesses – do they get enough support?
The NSPCC launches a campaign today to urge the government to put more funding into services for young witnesses and so ensure more abusers are brought to justice.  The NSPCC says more money is needed annually from the government to ensure child witnesses in England and Wales receive full support. Jenni talks to Natalie Cronin, Head of Policy & Public Affairs for NSPCC, and Michael Bowes QC, who regularly acts as judge in cases involving child witnesses.
