A poll out today from the Fawcett Society reveals that women don't rate David Cameron as highly as a possible leader as they rate Gordon Brown. This is in spite of Mr Cameron’s continued efforts to appeal to women – whether by discussing lone parents, child poverty and families, or presenting himself as a normal father loading the dishwasher on his video blog site Webcameron. So what criteria appeal to women when assessing political leaders? Are they better at seeing through image-making and PR?
