Billie Piper 23 Oct 2006
At the age of 15 Billie Piper signed a million pound recording deal and went on to have 3 number 1 singles. But after 3 years, having being booed off the stage by jealous teenage girls, she was addicted to laxatives and had burnt out. At 18 she had a high profile wedding to Chris Evans in Las Vegas and an equally public separation. She then went back to her first love, acting, mostly famously as Rose in Doctor Who for which she was voted Most Popular Actress at the National Television Awards in 2005.

At the still tender age of 24 she has published her autobiography “Growing Pains” and she talks to Jenni about her eventful life so far.

Growing Pains by Billie Piper , published by Hodder and Stoughton - ISBN: 0 340 938498
