Roald Dahl Day |
12 September 2006 |

 |
Roald Dahl would have been ninety years old on the 13th September 2006. Although he died nearly sixteen years ago he is now more popular than ever and over four million copies of his books have been sold in the last year.
Children across the world are being encouraged to have fun and be silly on what would have been the author's ninetieth birthday. They are being asked to wear yellow, write a revolting rhyme or play a silly prank in celebration of Dahl's life.
Jenni is joined by his widow Felicity to talk about her life with the writer and what he would have made of 'Roald Dahl Day'. Roald Dahl - official websiteDisclaimer
