Social
Domestic violence and cycles of abuse 23 Jun 2006
A recent in depth study into domestic abuse has found that as many as one in four of the 26 abused women they spoke to had left one violent relationship only to go into another. So is it time we lifted the taboo on the idea of a cycle of abuse? Or does that inevitably mean we end up blaming the victims?

Ritula Shah is joined by Paula Nicolson, Professor of Health Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London and Sandra Horley, Chief Executive of Refuge.
