Jackie Clune on being a mother of triplets 23 May 2006
"Oh my God your life is over," is how friends reacted when, with a toddler in tow, actor and stand-up comedian Jackie Clune gave birth to triplets a year ago. For a former lesbian who had never wanted children, it came as a bit of a shock to find herself mother to four children under two years old.

Twelve months on, she's playing the lead in the touring production of the smash hit musical Mamma Mia and has just brought out a book called Extreme Motherhood. So, with 1,200 nappies and 1,000 feeds under her belt, has motherhood been her most rewarding role to date?

Extreme Motherhood: The Triplet Diaries is published by Pan Macmillan
ISBN-1-4050-8842-7
