Horatio Clare, on Running for the Hills 20 Apr 2006
Every year thousands of people dream of escaping the city for a country idyll. Back in the 70s London journalists Jenny and Robert Clare followed that dream when they bought a dilapidated farm high in the Brecon Beacons complete with a flock of mountain sheep. The brutal and beautiful life they took on and the subsequent break up of his parents' marriage is told in a new book Running for the Hills by Horatio Clare.

Horatio and his mother talk to Miriam O'Reilly about their family and their bond with their natural surroundings.
