Spring Survey 2001
by Tom Feilden
Today was joined by two other environmental organisations for the survey.
The Woodland Trust, the UK's leading woodland conservation charity, joined forces with the
Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, a leading scientific organisation, to assist in its work of monitoring and evaluating changes to nature's events.

The purpose of the survey was to chart the arrival of Spring by charting changes in the environment - eg. flora and fauna. Everyone's contribution, however large or small, helped to give more information nationwide as well as about their locality.
