Read some of your e-mail comments:

For thirty years now I have knitted for historical films, TV, museums, re-enactors, etc. and in 1993 was co-founder of the Early Knitting History Group, now part of The Medieval Dress & Textile Society. Within two years we had an international membership of over 200 from 21 countries, so are not all dozy dreary old crones! In 2002 I made about 70 hats for the Russell Crowe film "Master & Commander" and then read that he is knitting too, so he could have made them for his loyal crew himself. Perhaps, if there is a sequel, he will, and surely he will design a logo for you? The next conference is planned for 2006.
