"A few days after the Pakistan earthquake I heard a rescue worker on Radio 4's Today programme saying 'There aren't enough tents in the world ...' I spent the rest of the week making this piece. I start the day with Radio 4 until around midday when I switch to Radio London - the faster paced mix of chat and music is more conducive to getting on with things. At 5.00pm I return to Radio 4 to be soothed by Eddie Mair's gentle voice, staying on 93.25 until about 8.00pm. Weekends it's all Radio 4 - I wish 4 broadcast through the night as well!"
