"The first thing I do on entering my studio is to turn on the radio. Like most artists professional or amateur, I work in seclusion, once I close the door of my studio. Listening to the radio keeps me connected to the outside world. I believe that art is influenced by all around it, the radio, helps me to work, offering new views, stimulation and ideas, sometimes just light relief, when needed most.
