Recycled Sheep, 2005 by Patty Callaghan

"Part of this picture was made while listening to Joan Rivers and Darcus Howe almost coming to blows on  Midweek. This might explain why the mark making is maybe a bit more vigorous and energetic than might  otherwise have been the case. Radio 4 is usually my  default background listening while I’m working. This can be a double-edged sword. You can hear some awful old tosh (yes, Agatha Raisin, this means you) but you can also find yourself fascinated by some arcane documentary you  would never have chosen to listen to. There is a particular  joy in stumbling across a programme about a re-discovered American woodpecker or a reflective piece  about single shoes (still not sure quite why I found that one so appealing...)"
