"I love being read to and the radio draws me into stories from all over the world, bringing relaxation and immersion into my work. It is especially useful when I have a mural commission with lots of repetitive bits. I only wish the weekend plays were repeated during the week, although now I have 'listen-again' on the computer, my work has taken on a new dimension. I listen to Late Junction in the afternoon and explore unknown channels of world music, comedy and drama. This all adds to the creativity, and a dread of the
telephone ringing."
