The Lemon Princess
As the death of a young girl suffering from New Variant Creutzfeld Jakobs Disease (nvCJD) lies at the heart of a new play called The Lemon Princess, Kirsty Lang discusses with the director Ruth Carney and the playwright Rachael McGill the art of turning a life-threatening disease and a scientific puzzle into an evening of entertaining drama.

The Lemon Princess is on at the West Yorkshire Playhouse until 5 March

The Magic Roundabout
The children's writer Liz Kessler reviews the new film version of this children's classic.

Transatlantic Voyages
As a new exhibition opens at the Merseyside Maritime Museum celebrating the golden age of transatlantic travel, Front Row assess the cultural impact of crossing the pond.

Liverpool to New York: The Only Way to Cross is on at Merseyside Maritime Museum until 14 of August

Going Dutch
The Queen's collection of 17th Century Dutch masterpieces goes on show for the first time in thirty years. The writer Deborah Moggach, author of Tulip Fever, a novel set in 17th century Amsterdam has had a look.

Enchanting The Eye: Dutch paintings of the Golden Age is on show at the Queen's Gallery from 11 February until 30 October

The Bodyguard
The bodyguard makes two cinematic appearances this week, the first in a new film - First Daughter, and the second in the new DVD of the film The Bodyguard which starred Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston. Kim Revill lays down the rules for dealing with these strong silent types.

First Daughter is released nationwide from 11 February, certificate PG. The Bodyguard is released on DVD on 7 February
