Booking is now open to the BBC Proms 2026.

Running from 17 July to 12 September, the Proms returns this summer for an unforgettable eight weeks of music. General booking opens 16 May.

The Proms celebrates prog rock with BBC Radio 6 Music host Stuart Maconie, presenting brand-new orchestral arrangements of songs by Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Mike Oldfield, Renaissance and others

The Unthanks join the Royal Northern Sinfonia and conductor Ellie Slorach for a concert of songs shaped by the North

A special live edition of the acclaimed late-night Radio 3 jazz show ’Round Midnight, this year with a focus on centenary artist John Coltrane

John Storgårds and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra perform Strauss’s monumental tone-poem alongside Betsy Jolas’s evocative Tales of a Summer Sea. Sueye Park joins them for Sibelius’s Nordic-tinged Violin Concerto

For their first Prom of the 2026 season, Ryan Bancroft and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales perform spiritually charged works by Lili Boulanger, Szymanowski, Messiaen and Strauss, each reflecting on death and the afterlife

Join Albert Einstein and Marie Curie as they present CBBC’s hit sketch show Horrible Science live at the Royal Albert Hall. Tickets on sale from 9am on Friday 15 May.

Proms favourites Nicholas Collon and the Aurora Orchestra lift the bonnet on Mahler’s First Symphony. A dramatised first half featuring mezzo-soprano Natalie Lewis introduces the piece, before a complete performance after the interval

Mercury Prize-nominated South Tyneside-born singer-songwriter Nadine Shah collaborates with the Royal Northern Sinfonia in the latest of the orchestra’s series of bold musical dialogues

The Los Angeles Philharmonic returns to the Proms for the first time in over two decades, led by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel. Together they perform Beethoven’s ‘Pastoral’ Symphony and Inferno, the first panel from Thomas Adès’s Dante ballet
