Vex Prince is an up-and-coming artist from Rwanda with a reputation for energetic stage performances and flamboyant costumes. He works with Rwandan designers, and outfits he’s appeared in include a red suit encrusted with beads and flowers, a satin toga draped over a suit, and a huge fluffy coat which looks like it’s made from raffia.
Vex Prince also has a love affair with Ivory Coast. In April 2026 he performed at MASA – Marché des Arts du Spectacle Africain d'Abidjan - a huge arts festival which takes over the Ivorian capital every two years. He has two collaborations with Ivorian artists: Money features Dorty, and Laler features former TIA guest Fior 2 Bior. Both songs appear on his debut album, Levitation, which dropped in 2025.
