DRC, Uganda and South Sudan adopt plan to counter Ebola

WHO chief, Tedros Ghebreyesus, confirmed a rise to nine-hundred suspected cases, one hundred of which have been confirmed

The director-general of the World Health Organisation has said there are now more than 900 suspected cases of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In a post on X, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned that regional conflict was making it more difficult to track new cases.

Details remain elusive but there are indications that a deal to end the US Iran war could be within reach.

China has launched three astronauts on a voyage to its space station. One of the crew will spend 12 months in Orbit.
