Celebrating Cinnamon's birthday!

Cinnamon the Capybara became famous around the world after her bid for freedom in 2024. The intrepid rodent fled her enclosure in Telford two years ago after a gate was accidentally left open. Cinnamon spent a week on the run before she was dramatically captured in a conservation area next to the zoo.
Her story has sparked internet memes, merchandise and a children’s book whilst also leading to a massive increase in people wanting to see the capybaras in real life.
