The Leeds soap company helping people to get clean

Chris Sylvester spent 22 years in addiction, he started using heroin when he was only 12 years old and as a young man was in and out of prison and homelessness.

He's turned his life around, founding his business and social enterprise Getting Clean and giving back to the community through supporting recovering addicts.

As well as selling handmade soap - Getting Clean has supported people battling addiction and helping the community through litter-picking, conservation and helping vulnerable members of society.
