Is your town in the running for 'Town of Culture'?

Towns across the UK are hoping to become 'Town of Culture' in a new competition.

Here - Birkenhead, Bootle, New Brighton, Prescot and Widnes fancy their chances.

The finalists and overall winner are to be announced in early 2027 with the winning cultural programme taking place in 2028.
