Alex Wheatle: The Brixton Bard

Award Winning novelist Alex Wheatle has died aged 62. The iconic writer inspired Sir Steve McQueen's BBC series Small Axe. He died a week before the launch of his new BBC series Crongton Knights. In lockdown 2020 he spoke about his troubled childhood, and his work Cane Warriors. Reporter: Karen Gabay.
