Official Comment on Shortwave Cutbacks

The BBC World Service will cease its shortwave broadcast to North America, Australia, and New Zealand. Instead it will 'focus its delivery' on FM, digital and online services. Mark Byford, Director of BBC World Service, answers points raised by listeners on this subject.
