When 16 Sherpas were killed by an avalanche this spring, it was the worst mountaineering accident Mount Everest had ever seen. Everest holds deep spiritual significance to many in the Sherpa community, but now they fear the rapidly growing commercialisation of the very mountain on which they depend.
