Attacked with an Iron Bar
Trainee team leader Matt must organise the response to a man attacked with an iron bar. And the plastics team face painstaking surgery when a carpenter arrives with severed fingers.
When a man arrives after being hit with an iron bar in a roadside attack, trainee trauma team leader Matt must coordinate the response and try to reassure his anxious family. Then, a second trauma arrives; this time a motocross rider with a possible pelvic injury after coming off his bike at 50mph.
Elsewhere, on-call plastics registrar Asmaa is paged to Jordan, a carpenter who’s been brought in by his father, Mark, after falling onto a circular saw. He’s partially severed three fingers, and Asmaa has to explain his options - one of which includes a delicate, painstaking surgery.
