More than 9 in 10 UK adults were using at least one form of online, mobile or telephone banking in 2025, according to a banking and finance industry body. As digital innovation grows, UK Finance has said that cash is expected to make up just 4% of payments by 2035. So, as our use of cash is seeming to decline How easy is it to use cash these days?

A new poll by St John Ambulance has found that just 42% of those surveyed knew how to stop someone choking by giving back blows and abdominal thrusts, previously known as the Heimlich manoeuvre.
