Soweto Kinch returns with another hour of exciting jazz releases, and bassoonist and composer Joy Guidry picks another album for her 4/4 selection.

Soweto welcomes back his guest from Monday to Thursday this week, Joy Guidry, who is picking some of her favourite albums for 4/4. This time, she chooses something by an influential singer from Philadelphia.

There is also music to enjoy from Art Blakey, Marty Ehrlich and Akusmi. Tonight’s show is only 45 minutes due to the BBC Proms.
