Midnight music from Sylvie Natsume
Soweto is back with more exciting new releases and jazz classics, and Huw Marc Bennett has a fourth artist to celebrate on Flowers.
All this week, Soweto’s guest has been Welsh multi-instrumentalist and producer Huw Marc Bennett, also known as Susso. He’s been giving flowers to some of the artists that are meaningful to him. Rounding off his week, Huw gives a final bunch of appreciation to a future-facing drummer and percussionist he admires.
There is also music from Dezron Douglas, Poppy Ackroyd, and The Full Circle Quartet.
‘Round Midnight is presented by award-winning saxophonist Soweto Kinch. This weekday late-night show celebrates the thriving UK jazz scene and spotlights the best new music alongside incredible acts from past decades.
