Beverley Knight brings to life another item from V&A East's The Music Is Black exhibition

Beverley Knight rocks and rolls us back to the 30s and brings to life the story of Sister Rosetta Tharpe, who features in V&A East's inaugural exhibition The Music Is Black.

Throughout June DJ Spoony is shining a light on artefacts from V&A East Museum's inaugural exhibition, The Music is Black, a celebration of Black British music. Tonight legendary singer Beverley Knight takes us back to the 1930s and the advent of Rock 'n' Roll as she tells the story of Sister Rosetta Tharpe.
