This week Blues, soul, and rhythm & blues guitarist, songwriter, and record producer Laura Chavez calls in from California! In 2023 after being nominated five years in a row Laura picked up the Blues Music Award for Instrumentalist/Guitar, the first female artist in the 44-year history of the awards to do so. Earlier this year Laura released her instrumental solo debut, My Voice, on Ruf Records.
