Nosferatu to be shown on the BBC Big Screen, Clayton Square, Liverpool

Liverpool band a.P.A.t.T. will provide a contemporary live soundtrack to the classic silent horror film Nosferatu at the BBC Big Screen, Clayton Square, Liverpool, tomorrow (Thursday 30 October) at 7.00pm.

F W Murnau's classic film from 1921 retains the capacity to chill hearts in its depiction of the vampire Count Orlock, with his iconic needle teeth, wasp-waist and elongated fingernails.

Liverpool band a.P.A.t.T. have reached the culmination of a four-year project to provide a contemporary live soundtrack to this masterpiece of the macabre, presented in conjunction with BBC Radio Merseyside's PMS show and the Big Screen Liverpool.

The free event takes place Thursday 30 October 2008 at 7.00pm.

The public are invited to move between two sites during the transmission period: to observe the band in action at Radio Merseyside on Hanover Street and to catch the full, audio-visual experience at the Big Screen in Clayton Square.
