BBC One to show Great North Run

The BBC will show the 2008 Great North Run live on BBC One on Sunday 5 October 2008 from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
There will also be a special highlights programme on BBC Two later that day from 5.10 to 6.00pm.
The BBC commentary team will be Steve Cram, Brendan Foster and Paul Dickinson who will cover the elite men's and women's races as well as the mass run.
Coverage will be simulcast online on bbc.co.uk/sport (UK only) and there will be regular updates on BBC Radio 5 Live throughout the race.
