The BBC Press Office in London will be open to inquiries from the media during these hours over Christmas 2006 and New Year 2007...
Saturday 23 December: 11.00am-11.00pm
Sunday 24 December: 8.00am-1.00pm
Christmas Day: closed
Tuesday 26 December: 11.00am-11.00pm
Wednesday 27 to Friday 29 December: 8.00am-midnight
Saturday 30 December: 11.00am-11.00pm
Sunday 31 December: 8.00am-5.00pm
Monday 1 January: 11.00am-11.00pm
Tuesday 2 January: back to normal opening hours.

Our normal opening hours are from 8am to midnight on weekdays and from 11am to 11pm on weekends and public holidays.
The BBC Northern Ireland Press Office will be closed after Friday 22 December, re-opening on Thursday 4 January 2007.
For emergency press queries during this time please call the BBC Northern Ireland switchboard on 028 9033 8000.
The BBC Scotland Press Office will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 1 January and 2 January although a duty press officer can be contacted via the BBC Scotland switchboard on 0141 339 8844. From Wednesday 27 to Friday 29 December the press office will open from 9am to 5.30pm. Normal opening hours resume on Wednesday 3 January.
After Friday 22 December we do not plan to update the BBC Press Office website until Thursday 28 December 2006.
