Radio Gloucestershire gains 12,000 listeners in a year

BBC Radio Gloucestershire has gained 12,000 extra listeners over the last year and now has an average of 87,000 listeners each week, according to RAJAR figures released today.

 

Mark Hurrell, Managing Editor, says: "We're absolutely delighted. In a very competitive market it shows that we're offering the kind of local radio service that Gloucestershire people want."

 

BBC Radio Gloucestershire broadcasts on 104.7 FM (Gloucester & Cheltenham), 95.8 FM (Cirencester), 95.0 FM (Stroud), countywide on 1413 AM and online
