Peter Sissons will present a BBC News Special: Asia One Week On on Sunday 2 January 2005, 9.30 to 10.30am.

The programme will be broadcast simultaneously on BBC ONE and BBC News 24, a week after the Asian earthquake disaster.

The Heaven And Earth Show will be shown an hour later than scheduled, at 10.30am.

Countryfile and Weather For The Week Ahead will be shown on BBC TWO at 1.00pm replacing The Flying Gardener. The Darts on BBC TWO will start 30 minutes later than scheduled.
