BBC Sport has secured the
exclusive radio rights to England's home Test Matches and One-Day Internationals
until 2009.
BBC Sport also has the non-exclusive rights to Twenty20
Internationals and the domestic county competitions including the C&G
Trophy, the Twenty20 Cup, the National League and County Championship.
This four season deal follows on from the current deal
which ends in 2005.
Peter Salmon, Director, BBC Sport, said: "With
the England team on top form we are pleased to provide listeners with
the most comprehensive radio coverage on Test Match Special."
BBC Local Radio and Radio Wales also retain non-exclusive
rights to continue to broadcast county matches.
Listeners can hear Test Match Special on BBC Radio 4
LW and Five Live Sports Extra with news and updates on BBC Radio Five
Live.
