BBC Scotland's
hit series Still Game - starring Ford Kiernan and Greg
Hemphill will be shown to a UK-wide audience next year at
the same time as the Scottish transmission.
Ewan Angus, BBC Scotland's Executive Producer of Still
Game, said: "We are delighted that Still Game is such a major hit
with our audiences in Scotland.
"Following the success of the network screening
of five repeat episodes of the series earlier this year it is a credit
to the strength and calibre of writing from Ford and Greg, and the performances
from them and the rest of the cast, that the next series of Still Game
will now go UK-wide."
Still Game is a Comedy Unit and F'n'G Production for
BBC Scotland.
