The BBC Proms welcomes back virtuoso Amercian trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra for a Late Night Prom celebrating the rhythms and riffs of the Golden Age of Swing!

As part of a world tour, Wynton Marsalis directs the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, takes centre stage on the trumpet and announces each set.

His 2002 Proms appearance was a complete sell-out.

Tickets to the 2004 Proms concert are selling fast but there are 1000 standing tickets available on the day at just £4!

The Late Night Proms are now an integral and popular part of the Proms season.

The concert is broadcast live on BBC Radio 3, streamed live online and broadcast on BBC FOUR.
