Sporting chance for BBC poll candidates

In this week's Late Tackle, presenter Mark Chapman asks viewers to nominate the best and worst imports to East Midlands sport.

There's the million-pound player who couldn't score. And the goal-scorer with a fake passport. Or how about the cricketer who hit six sixes in one over?

Suggestions can be emailed - before Tuesday 6 April - to Mark at latetackle@bbc.co.uk.

Meanwhile, in the "other" Six Nations contest, Karen Andrew dispels the many myths about female rugby players.

She's out to be the Jonny Wilkinson of the England women's team. The programme follows the ruthless preparation as the team prepares to play on the hallowed turf at Twickenham.

This week's episode of the BBC East Midlands sports series comes from a Nottinghamshire pub which had a very famous landlord. Sportsmen past and present gather to honour one of the country's legends.

And mastering the art of kite-boarding is the task ahead of a viewer who wants to take the Late Tackle challenge.

Late Tackle is on BBC ONE (East Midlands), Tuesday 6 April, 10.35-11.05pm.
