Printable version

The BBC South East photography competition launches on Friday 19 March on BBC South East Today at 6.30pm and on BBC Radio Kent and BBC Southern Counties Radio on the breakfast shows.

The theme is South East Faces and Places - designed to bring out images of the region's people in local surroundings.

Judging the competition will be Paul Ross, BBC South East's Inside Out presenter, Ian Patel, Editor of Kent on Sunday and respected Hove-based photographer Nicholas Sinclair.

There are two categories, over 16s and under 16s.
The judges will select five finalists from each category.

Then it will be down to the public to vote for the winners via the BBC Kent and BBC Southern Counties websites at www.bbc.co.uk/kent and www.bbc.co.uk/southerncounties.

The winning entries and the best of the rest will go on display at prominent locations across the South East during the spring and summer. These include Gatwick Airport, Brighton Station and Ashford Station.

Full details and competition rules are on the websites.
Closing date for entries is Friday 16 April.
