BAMZOOKi

BAMZOOKi is a brand new game show on The CBBC Channel where contestants make and race computer generated creatures.

Teams of children from all over the UK have been challenged to create running, jumping and crawling Zooks on their computers.

The best Zooks will be selected and - using cutting edge software and virtual 3D studio technology - visualised for the show, presented by CBBC's Jake Humphrey.

The Zooks will be put to the test against each other in tasks including climbing over obstacles, moving around objects and sprinting, so choosing the best Zook for the right event is critical. (KH)

Beckham's Hotshots

CBBC has been granted exclusive access to the Real Madrid player and England captain as he settles into his new club in Spain.

A phenomenal CBBC competition will give several lucky CBBC viewers the chance to fly out to Madrid to train with their hero.

The winners will be filmed with their soccer hero for The CBBC Channel's exclusive series, Beckham's Hotshots, in which the England Captain will pass on his soccer skills, tricks and tips to CBBC viewers.

The series will also gives Beckham fans a fun, fact-packed low-down on one of the world's greatest footballers.

Best Of Friends

Best Of Friends is a show with one group of friends, two presenters, three mystery treats, three mystery tasks, two magical days and it's brand new for The CBBC Channel.

A group of five friends are collected in the Best Of Friends people carrier and are taken off on a two day magical tour.

They undertake the amigOmeter test to find out how solid their friendship really is and then the tasks begin.

The challenges could be anything difficult or horrible like answering 100 maths questions in 90 minutes, whereas the treats could be as fantastic as pony trekking, ice skating or meeting a pop group.

The true test of their friendship will be in their final task - will they leave some of the group to face the worse task alone or will they stick together as a team?

Best Of Friends is presented by Michael Absalom – aka Abs to regular CBBC viewers – and CBBC new-comer, Rani Khanijau.

It is a Talent TV production for the CBBC Channel. (NR)
