HARDtalk with Hoshyar Zebari, Iraqi Foreign Minister

Hoshyar Zebari, Iraqi Foreign Minister, is interviewed by David Jessel on BBC News 24's HARDtalk tonight.

Six months after the invasion of Iraq - is the world a safer place and is life any better for the people of Iraq?

A Service of Remembrance is being held today at St Paul's Cathedral for members of the armed services killed in the war.

In the meantime members of Iraq's Governing Council say they are concerned about plans to send Turkish troops to their country.

Heshyar Zebari is Iraq's Foreign Minister. Does he think the issue of Turkish troops will split the Governing Council?

And six months after the war started how does he see the situation in his country?

He speaks to David Jessel on BBC News 24's HARDtalk at 11.30pm today (Friday 10 October 2003).
