HARDtalk with Stephen Kolee of ActionAid Liberia

Stephen Kolee, Project Manager of ActionAid Liberia, is interviewed by David Jessel on BBC News 24's HARDtalk tonight.

How easy will it be to restore order in Liberia, given the long-standing problems facing the country?

Stephen Kolee is Liberia Project Manager for ActionAid, a development organisation playing a key role there.

Kolee has lived nearly all his life in Liberia, and came to London for a training course in May this year - the fighting has made it impossible for him to return.

He talks to David Jessel about the role poverty played in Liberia's long-term disintegration, and what the international community must do to help.

HARDtalk is on BBC News 24 at 11.30pm today (Wednesday 6 August 2003).

All the BBC's digital services are now available on Freeview, the new free-to-view digital terrestrial television service, as well as on satellite and cable.
