  HARDtalk:
Yosef Lapid
On
BBC News 24's HARDtalk tonight (Friday 16 May 2003) Tim Sebastian
interviews Yosef Lapid, Israeli Justice Minister and leader of the
Shinui Party.
Colin Powell's visit to the Middle East over the past few days may
have been an attempt to sell the 'road map' for peace but it is
still far from clear whether this new plan will have any more success
than past efforts.
Israel
has made it clear that it disagrees with many aspects of the plan,
in particular the idea that the two sides should take parallel steps
for peace.
Yosef
Lapid talks to Tim Sebastian.
HARDtalk
is on BBC News 24 at 11.30pm.
All the
BBC's digital services are now available on Freeview,

from BBCi, as well as 11 BBC radio networks.
