John
Humphrys to be new Mastermind presenter
Radio
4 Today programme presenter John Humphrys is to host a new series
of Mastermind for BBC TWO.
Wayne
Garvie, BBC Head of Entertainment Group, says: "We're really
excited to be bringing Mastermind back to BBC Television.
"John
Humphrys will make an excellent successor to Magnus Magnusson. John
is renowned as one of the toughest interviewers in the country.
"He
scares cabinet ministers so heaven knows what he'll do to Mastermind
contestants!"
The
new series of Mastermind will be on BBC TWO from mid-June.

All the
BBC's digital services are now available on Freeview,
the new free-to-view digital terrestrial television service, as well
as on satellite and cable.
Freeview
offers the BBC's eight television channels, interactive services
