WAR IN IRAQ

HARDtalk: Ahmed Maher

On BBC News 24's HARDtalk tonight (Tuesday 1 April), Tim Sebastian interviews Ahmed Maher, Egyptian Foreign Minister.

From the moment the war in Iraq began there have been protests in the Arab World. Nowhere more so than in Egypt, which has been hit by a wave of demonstrations against the actions of the coalition forces.

Egypt has long had a close relationship with the United States. Tim Sebastian asks Ahmed Maher if the protests have put that relationship under strain.

Tonight's HARDtalk will be broadcast on BBC News 24 at 11.30pm.
