to show both legs of Celtic's UEFA Cup semi-final
Both
legs of Celtic's UEFA Cup semi-final against Portuguese side Boavista
will be screened live and exclusive on the BBC.
The
first leg of the tie is on Thursday 10 April, kicking off at 7.05pm
at Celtic Park, with the return leg on 24 April at 8.00pm from Boavista's
Estádio do Bessa in Oporto.
Match
of the Day Live for both of the ties will be presented by Gary
Lineker with Alan Hansen and Mark Lawrenson.
BBC
Scotland's coverage will be presented by Dougie Donnelly.
Both
legs will also be broadcast live on BBC Radio Five Live.
The
BBC's Director of Sports Rights and Finance Dominic Coles said:
"It's terrific to have both legs of Celtic's first European
semi-final since 1974.
"This
will be compulsive viewing for football fans across Britain, especially
as the BBC has already secured the rights to the UEFA Cup Final."
