HARDtalk: Chris Smith

On BBC News 24's HARDtalk tonight (Wednesday 29 January 2003), Tim Sebastian interviews Chris Smith, Labour MP and former Government minister.

There is a significant amount of unease amongst members of the British Parliament about the prospect of war against Iraq, with many of the Prime Minister's own party expressing reservations about the moral basis for such a war.

Chris Smith, a former member of Tony Blair's Cabinet, is one of the more senior members of the Labour party expressing their disquiet.

Tim Sebastian asks him under what circumstances he would support a decision to go to war.
