Settlement
of judicial review proceedings between the BBC and 18 education
software providers
The
BBC and RM and 17 other education software providers have today
(Monday 27 January 2003) reached settlement of judicial review proceedings
concerning the Digital Curriculum service.
In
the light of the fact that the litigation has been overtaken by
the grant of approval for the service by the Secretary of State,
the BBC and the Claimants have agreed that the Claimants will withdraw
the judicial review proceedings on the basis that each side will
pay its own costs.
