HARDtalk: Keiren Conry

On BBC News 24's HARDtalk tonight (Thursday 23 January 2003), Tim Sebastian interviews Keiren Conry, Bishop of Arundel and Brighton.

Britain's religious leaders have made clear their views on the prospect of war with Iraq. They dispute the "moral justification" for military action.

The Catholic Bishops of England and Wales have released a statement saying war is a route from which there is no return.

Tim Sebastian talks to Keiren Conry about the declaration and what role religious leaders think they can play in preventing a war.

Notes to Editors

HARDtalk is broadcast on BBC News 24, Monday to Friday at 10.30pm, and is repeated Tuesday to Saturday at 2.30am.
